Jason Allen King is a comedian, writer, actor, filmmaker, and birdwatcher from Charlotte, NC. Drawing on his personal experiences, King delivers a sharp perspective on everyday life with a dash of self-deprecation. Fresh off the release of his Dry Bar Comedy Special “Nobody’s Emergency Contact,” he’s back on tour Headlining, a new regular on Carnival Cruise Lines, and working with comedy greats everywhere. He recently won the 2025 NC’s Funniest Person Competition at Goodnight’s Comedy Club in Raleigh, NC. He was voted Best Charlotte Comedian by Queen City Nerve, three times voted Charlotte’s Favorite Comedian by Elevate Lifestyle, and featured in It’s A Southern Thing’s “15 Southern Comics to Watch,” King continues to captivate audiences nationwide. As the Host and Producer of The Zoning Out Podcast, King discusses all things comedy and beyond. He also stars in the video series “George & Monty,” with a feature film slated for a 2026 release. King’s film credits include award-winning projects like “Pink” (Amazon Prime) and “Little Package” (YouTube). As a writer/producer, he has contributed to feature films and national campaigns for brands like NASCAR, Dirt Devil, Sheetz, and the Alzheimer’s Association.
